What do you miss most about having a partner?

The silent, telepathic understanding exchanged across a crowded, noisy room. Having someone handy to fix the leaky faucet while I hold the flashlight and offer 'advice'. A built-in, captive audience for my absolute worst, most eye-roll-inducing jokes. That gentle, resonant voice asking about my day over a perfectly brewed cup of decaf.
