After the riders in red turned right, the two friends turned left and began their 15-mile journey home, riding at their usual 80-90 mph pace. During the ride, they noticed an airplane seemed to be following them, sparking a sense of unease. They suspected something was amiss but couldn't imagine they were the targets of a police manhunt.
