The Impolite Weatherman

During an incredibly stiff BBC broadcast, a news anchor made a slightly snarky passing comment about his colleague, weatherman Tomasz Schafernaker. Thinking he was completely off-camera, Schafernaker playfully responded by throwing up his middle finger directly toward the news desk. As he suddenly realized he was live on national television, his panicked, rapid attempt to disguise the obscene gesture as a thoughtful chin-scratch became one of British television's funniest moments.
