The Hospital of Horrors

Beelitz-Heilstätten, Germany

The Hospital of Horrors
This vast complex served as a tuberculosis sanatorium and later a military hospital for Germany in both World Wars—even treating a young Adolf Hitler. After WWII, it became the largest Soviet military hospital outside the USSR until the mid-90s. Its abandoned operating theaters and decaying wards make it one of Europe's eeriest locations.
