Chris Weinke won the Heisman at age 28 after a minor league baseball career. Drafted by the Carolina Panthers, he endured a dreadful rookie season, throwing 11 touchdowns to 19 interceptions while leading the team to a 1-15 record. He started only a handful of games after that, ending his career as a backup.
