A Massachusetts man complaining of a collapsed lung was shocked to learn the cause of his ailment. Doctors discovered a pea plant, half an inch long, growing and sprouting inside his lung. He had likely inhaled a pea at some point which then split and began to grow in the warm, moist environment.
