In 1879, Anna Haining Bates, a woman standing 7'11", gave birth to a son weighing an incredible 22 pounds and measuring 28 inches long. Nicknamed "Babe," he was the largest newborn ever recorded. Tragically, due to his extreme size, he survived for only 11 hours.
