The rock legend signs an autograph for his future murderer.
On December 8, 1980, John Lennon signed a copy of his "Double Fantasy" album for Mark David Chapman, who is captured in this photograph alongside him. Just a few hours later, Chapman would return to the same spot outside Lennon's New York City apartment and fatally shoot the former Beatle.
