Saman Kunan was a former Thai Navy SEAL who volunteered in the 2018 Tham Luang cave rescue of 12 boys and their coach. While delivering oxygen tanks deep inside the flooded cave, he ran out of air and died during his return dive. His bravery became a symbol of ultimate sacrifice in one of the world’s most complex rescue missions.
