During WWII, an Italian street dog named Fido was adopted by a brick kiln worker. Every day, Fido would wait at the bus stop for his master to return, but one tragic day in 1943, an Allied bombing raid killed his owner. For the next 14 years, until his own death, Fido returned to that same bus stop every single day, faithfully waiting for a friend who would never come home.
