In the 1930s, a black retriever named Jack lived near the River Tawe in Swansea, Wales. Without any training, he instinctively began rescuing people from the treacherous waters, ultimately saving an incredible 27 men, women, and children. His loyalty wasn't to one owner, but to all of humanity, earning him a monument that still stands today.
