The sisters' magical abilities often develop in opposite ways. While Luz embraces Eda's wild magic and glyphs, Lucia is sometimes drawn to more potent or dangerous forms. Their Palismen also reflect this, with Lucia often carving a bat or snake to contrast Luz's bright Stringbean.
