There's a plan for both the expected and the unexpected.

A scheduled procedure, like a colonoscopy or annual physical, involves a meticulously planned and controlled visit. In contrast, an emergency scenario triggers a rapid, pre-planned response protocol called a 'COOP' (Continuity of Operations Plan) to get the President to secure medical care as fast as possible, often under a shroud of secrecy.
