A President can't just be treated by any doctor, even the best specialists. The primary medical team consists of WHMU physicians and top military doctors from Walter Reed. Any civilian specialist must undergo a rigorous background check by the Secret Service and FBI to receive the necessary security clearance to consult or operate.
