Located in Utah, the Pando is a clonal colony of a single quaking aspen tree, weighing an estimated 6,000 tons and covering 106 acres. All the stems in the grove are genetically identical and connected by a single, massive underground root system. It's considered one of the heaviest and oldest living organisms on Earth, estimated to be thousands of years old.
