#6: The Penrose Stairs

This impossible object depicts a staircase that makes four 90-degree turns and appears to be a continuous, ascending or descending loop. A person could climb these stairs forever and never get any higher. It's a 2D representation of an object that would violate the laws of geometry in our 3D world.
