#5: Escher's Waterfall

Where water flows uphill.

Inspired by the Penrose Triangle, M.C. Escher's famous lithograph depicts a perpetual motion machine where water from the base of a waterfall seemingly flows uphill to the top. The illusion is created by using a twisted perspective and impossible geometry, tricking your brain into seeing a paradox.
