#16: The Ebbinghaus Illusion

Two circles of the exact same size are placed near each other, one surrounded by large circles and the other by small circles. The central circle surrounded by larger circles appears smaller than the one surrounded by smaller circles. This demonstrates that our perception of size is not absolute but is influenced by the context of surrounding objects.
