Survived a mid-air explosion without a parachute.

The 33,000-Foot Fall
In 1972, flight attendant Vesna Vulović was the sole survivor of JAT Flight 367, which exploded at 33,330 feet. She fell for three minutes, pinned inside a section of the fuselage that crash-landed on a snowy hillside. Despite suffering a fractured skull, three broken vertebrae, and two broken legs, she made a near-full recovery.
